7月31日下午為河南省直第三人民醫院科室品牌建設交流會。河南省直第三人民醫院業務院長袁啟東，院長助理、椎間盤中心主任周紅剛，骨科主任沙宇、閆永昌等醫院骨幹均到場參加。椎間盤中心代表申明奎博士進行雙語科室工作彙報，分享了目前科室的工作現況以及科室前景的展望。Rosenthal教授也表示，省直三院的椎間盤中心在手術技術、國際交流與對基層醫院幫扶的成就有目共睹，發展前景大好！接著，教授進行《德國脊柱外科學科建設的經驗總結》為題的演講，分享了德國2006年德國脊柱學會（DWG）創(chuang)立(li)以(yi)後(hou)的(de)脊(ji)柱(zhu)外(wai)科(ke)醫(yi)生(sheng)的(de)培(pei)養(yang)體(ti)係(xi)以(yi)及(ji)培(pei)養(yang)流(liu)程(cheng)。在(zai)德(de)國(guo)，從(cong)事(shi)脊(ji)柱(zhu)外(wai)科(ke)的(de)醫(yi)生(sheng)主(zhu)要(yao)由(you)神(shen)經(jing)外(wai)科(ke)醫(yi)生(sheng)與(yu)骨(gu)外(wai)科(ke)醫(yi)生(sheng)構(gou)成(cheng)，他(ta)們(men)共(gong)同(tong)進(jin)入(ru)脊(ji)柱(zhu)外(wai)科(ke)培(pei)訓(xun)體(ti)係(xi)，學(xue)習(xi)脊(ji)柱(zhu)外(wai)科(ke)頸(jing)胸(xiong)腰(yao)椎(zhui)的(de)所(suo)有(you)手(shou)術(shu)入(ru)路(lu)以(yi)及(ji)器(qi)械(xie)知(zhi)識(shi)。學(xue)會(hui)會(hui)針(zhen)對(dui)他(ta)們(men)的(de)學(xue)習(xi)完(wan)成(cheng)情(qing)況(kuang)、完成病例數等對其進行頒發證書，證書分為三個等級，basic、master、excellence。Rosenthal教授表示，一個脊柱外科醫生從完成三個等級的晉升通常需要10到15年(nian)的(de)時(shi)間(jian)。最(zui)後(hou)，袁(yuan)啟(qi)東(dong)院(yuan)長(chang)致(zhi)結(jie)束(shu)詞(ci)表(biao)示(shi)，他(ta)非(fei)常(chang)認(ren)同(tong)教(jiao)授(shou)所(suo)闡(chan)述(shu)的(de)人(ren)才(cai)就(jiu)是(shi)學(xue)科(ke)發(fa)展(zhan)的(de)第(di)一(yi)要(yao)義(yi)的(de)理(li)念(nian)，感(gan)謝(xie)他(ta)的(de)分(fen)享(xiang)對(dui)未(wei)來(lai)醫(yi)院(yuan)人(ren)才(cai)發(fa)展(zhan)與(yu)建(jian)設(she)有(you)了(le)新(xin)的(de)啟(qi)發(fa)。
On July 30th, Guangzhou's hot summer day. The sky suffused with gray dawn. I got up at 6:00, showered and put on make up. I went with my driver to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Terminal 2 to pick up Dr. Rosenthal. We haven't seen each other in four years. Today Dr. Daniel Rosenthal, former president of the German Spine Society, visited China again. He took a direct flight at Frankfurt and landed in Guangzhou at 8:10 this morning. We had breakfast together at a hotel nearby. Our colleague Zoe accompanied him to fly to Zhengzhou. Dr. Rosenthal will stay for one week at the Disc Center of The Third people’s Hospital of Henan Province. This year, more and more VIP patients are coming to him for medical treatment in Germany. He is also very busy this year. He pays high attention on minimally invasive techniques. Last year he accepted two doctoral students. One is Mr. Song Kunfeng from the Third People's Hospital of Henan Province, and the other is Mr. Li Chuanjiang from Shantou University Guangzhou Huaxin Orthopedic Hospital. This year they will both go to Germany for MD Degree study. Dr. Rosenthal told me today that he is not going to retire and he will see them through to their graduation.
The key national clinic specialty construction project landed in disc center of the Third People's Hospital of Henan Province. They founded a specalized alliance in China and now there have been nearly 100 members. It has helped hundreds of primary hospitals in China to develop minimally invasive techniques. Their expertise of endoscopic spine surgery definitely ranks the top in the field of minimally invasive spine surgery in China. The whole hospital off the president to the vice president and department chiefs are very modest, treating people with sincerity, and they emphasize hospital management, specialty construction and talent cultivation. This is the hope of Chinese hospitals. The Communication Meeting on the Construction of Department Brand of the Third People’s Hospital of Henan Province was held in the afternoon of July 31st. The executives of the Hospital including Yuan Qidong, the hospital President, Zhou Honggang, Associate President and the Director of the Disc Center, Sha Yu and Yan Yongchang, the Directors of the Orthopedics, attended the meeting. Dr. Shen Mingkui, the representative of the Disc Center gave a presentation, sharing the current situation and prospect of the department. Dr. Rosenthal regarded that, people have all witnessed the achievements of the Disc Center of the Hospital in surgical techniques, international exchanges and supporting local hospitals, and that it has a bright future. Following the report, Dr. Rosenthal addressed a lecture with the topic of The Construction of the Discipline of Spine Surgery - German Experience. He shared the cultivation system and process of spine surgeons of Germany of the German Spine Society (Deutsche Wirbelsäulengesellschaft, DWG) starting from 2006. In Germany, ‘spine specilaist’ is used to call neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons who dedicate to the specialty of spine surgery. They enter the cultivation system of spine surgery together, to learn the procedures of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, the instrumentation and so on. Based on the extent of the accomplishment of their study, the number of cases, etc., DWG will issue them a certificate accordingly, which has three levels: Basic, Master, and Excellence. According to Dr. Rosenthal, it normally takes 10 to 15 years for a spine surgeon to grow from Level Basic to Excellence. At the end, Yuan Qidong, the hospital President, conveyed in the ending speech that, he greatly agreed with Dr. Rosenthal’s idea that talents are the most essential for specialty development., and showed his gratitude for the new inspirations from Dr. Rosenthal’s lecture on the development and talent cultivation of the hospital.
