全quan球qiu的de學xue術shu會hui議yi被bei迫po按an下xia暫zan停ting鍵jian,但dan在zai最zui艱jian難nan的de時shi刻ke,他ta卻que反fan其qi道dao而er行xing,主zhu動dong發fa起qi全quan線xian上shang的de國guo際ji膝xi關guan節jie日ri,將jiang疫yi情qing阻zu斷duan的de距ju離li變bian成cheng線xian上shang連lian通tong的de橋qiao梁liang。 tabujinjiaojishu,gengdairen。tahuiyaoqingfangxueyishengcanjiajuhui,daitamendaojializuoke,bangzhutamenrongrumoshengdewenhuahuanjing。 對dui每mei一yi位wei中zhong國guo學xue生sheng,他ta都dou投tou入ru實shi打da實shi的de時shi間jian與yu資zi源yuan,為wei他ta們men創chuang造zao真zhen正zheng有you助zhu成cheng長chang的de科ke研yan與yu臨lin床chuang條tiao件jian。 他組織大量麵向青年醫生的培訓課程,並牽頭發起 STOP-X 計ji劃hua,通tong過guo專zhuan業ye的de康kang複fu和he預yu防fang體ti係xi降jiang低di運yun動dong人ren群qun的de膝xi關guan節jie損sun傷shang風feng險xian,讓rang更geng多duo患huan者zhe受shou益yi於yu規gui範fan化hua的de醫yi學xue教jiao育yu和he科ke學xue指zhi導dao。 womenyicicibeitaduiyixueyujiaoyudereaisuodadong,yeyincigengjiajiandingyutaxieshouqianxingdexinnian。
From November 30 to December 5, Prof. Petersen, the Medical Director of the Department of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery at Martin Luther Hospital Berlin, Former President of the German Knee Society (DKG), and Vice President of German-Austrian-Swiss Society for Orthopaedic-Traumatological Sports Medicine (GOTS) for Germany had a week-long visiting professorship at the Department of Sports Medicine, Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou. During his stay, together with Prof. YANG Weiyi, Director of the Department of Sports Medicine, and his team, Prof. Petersen conducted surgical demonstrations and technical discussions on numerous clinical hot topics in knee joint surgery. He engaged in extensive discussions with the team on case management, surgical strategies, and post-operative rehabilitation concepts, sharing real-world clinical insights from Germany with remarkable openness and sincerity. On Friday, Prof. Petersen was invited as an international guest expert to give a keynote lecture at the the "Guangzhou Session of Knee Preservation China Tour", organized by the National Orthopedic Medical Center of China. This visit held far more significance for us than just a week of academic exchange. It represented the continuation and expansion of a collaboration that has been developing over six years, overcoming the challenges of the pandemic and geographical distances. We first came into contact with Prof. Petersen in January 2020, at a time when international exchanges had been forced to pause. But in this difficult period, Prof. Petersen took an unconventional approach and launched the fully virtual International Knee Day, turning the distance blocked by the pandemic into an online bridge. For three consecutive years, Gloryren served as the sole co-organizer in China, setting up live sessions in 12 hospitals across 10 cities in China. This allowed Chinese surgeons to continue to stay connected with the global academic community during the pandemic. Over the three years, 45 Chinese surgeons presented the international stage, with over 570,000 online viewers. This was not only an academic exchange, but also a lasting bond of mutual support. The collaboration over the past six years has never ceased, despite the changing external environment. In clinical education, Prof. Petersen has always remained highly committed to Chinese hospitals and Chinese doctors. He has hosted 7 Chinese visiting fellows in his team, bringing them into the operating room, outpatient clinics, and ward rounds, allowing young Chinese doctors to learn directly in one of Germany's most well-developed clinical systems. Clinically, he teaches skills; personally, he mentors and supports. He invites fellows to gatherings, welcomes them to his home, and helps them adapt to a cultural environments. Both professionally and personally, he makes sure every fellow feels supported, valued, and encouraged. This genuine dedication is also reflected in his sustained support for Chinese doctoral students. In 2025, GE Yizhou from Shanxi Medical University began his doctoral studies in Germany under Prof. Petersen’s supervision. In 2026, he will welcome two new doctoral candidates from Shantou University and Zhangzhou. For each Chinese student, he invests substantial time and resources to create clinical and research conditions that truly foster their professional growth. His passion for nurturing young surgeons extends to his educational efforts in Europe as well. In 2012, he co-founded the German Knee Society with leading experts with a shared vision. Starting with just a dozen members, the society has grown to more than 1,300 knee surgeons. He has organized numerous training courses for young surgeons and launched the STOP-X program, a professional rehabilitation and prevention system designed to reduce knee injuries in athletes and ensure more patients benefit from standardized medical education and scientific guidance. His concern for patient well-being and his dedication to training the next generation of surgeons have always been the driving forces behind his work. Therefore, throughout our collaboration with him, despite the pandemic, international political shifts, and the practical difficulties of Sino-Euro exchanges, he has always maintained patience, warmth, and a sense of responsibility. We have been deeply moved by his passion for medicine and education, which has strengthened our determination to continue working with him. From our first meeting to the deep mutual trust we share now, from overcoming difficulties together during the pandemic to resuming face-to-face collaboration to contribute to clinical education in China, our partnership with Prof. Petersen has always been steadfast, sincere, and mutually enriching. In the future, we will continue to work with Prof. Petersen to enable more Chinese and German surgeons to learn from each other, help more young surgeons find their path of growth, and ensure more patients benefit from the Sino-Euro collaboration.
