Hirsch教(jiao)授(shou)在(zai)生(sheng)理(li)學(xue)和(he)臨(lin)床(chuang)研(yan)究(jiu)領(ling)域(yu)做(zuo)出(chu)了(le)傑(jie)出(chu)貢(gong)獻(xian),盡(jin)管(guan)在(zai)職(zhi)業(ye)生(sheng)涯(ya)中(zhong)麵(mian)臨(lin)諸(zhu)多(duo)挑(tiao)戰(zhan),但(dan)她(ta)仍(reng)堅(jian)持(chi)不(bu)懈(xie)地(di)推(tui)動(dong)科(ke)學(xue)發(fa)展(zhan)。以(yi)她(ta)的(de)名(ming)字(zi)命(ming)名(ming)該(gai)中(zhong)心(xin),象(xiang)征(zheng)著(zhe)對(dui)醫(yi)學(xue)創(chuang)新(xin)和(he)跨(kua)學(xue)科(ke)合(he)作(zuo)的(de)堅(jian)定(ding)承(cheng)諾(nuo)。在(zai)會(hui)談(tan)中(zhong),我(wo)們(men)向(xiang)Schlomm教授介紹了公司的各項運營項目,包括中德訪學項目、中德臨床醫學博士項目和國際客座教授項目。教授對這些項目表現出濃厚興趣,並表示希望建立一個涵蓋醫院管理、學科建設和人才培養的良性循環:通(tong)過(guo)訪(fang)問(wen)中(zhong)國(guo)醫(yi)院(yuan),合(he)作(zuo)開(kai)展(zhan)客(ke)座(zuo)教(jiao)授(shou)項(xiang)目(mu),接(jie)收(shou)該(gai)院(yuan)博(bo)士(shi)生(sheng),以(yi)合(he)作(zuo)科(ke)研(yan)項(xiang)目(mu)為(wei)博(bo)士(shi)課(ke)題(ti),進(jin)行(xing)定(ding)向(xiang)聯(lian)合(he)培(pei)養(yang)。 他(ta)希(xi)望(wang)在(zai)博(bo)士(shi)項(xiang)目(mu)中(zhong)開(kai)展(zhan)轉(zhuan)化(hua)研(yan)究(jiu),這(zhe)是(shi)他(ta)和(he)團(tuan)隊(dui)的(de)強(qiang)項(xiang),且(qie)能(neng)在(zai)一(yi)兩(liang)年(nian)內(nei)取(qu)得(de)成(cheng)果(guo),更(geng)符(fu)合(he)中(zhong)國(guo)醫(yi)生(sheng)的(de)職(zhi)業(ye)規(gui)劃(hua)。會(hui)談(tan)結(jie)束(shu)後(hou),我(wo)們(men)在(zai)醫(yi)院(yuan)門(men)口(kou)合(he)影(ying)留(liu)念(nian)。 此ci次ci交jiao流liu為wei未wei來lai的de合he作zuo奠dian定ding了le堅jian實shi基ji礎chu,雙shuang方fang期qi待dai在zai轉zhuan化hua醫yi學xue研yan究jiu和he人ren才cai培pei養yang方fang麵mian展zhan開kai深shen入ru合he作zuo。
At 2:00 P.M. of February 27th, the team of four from Gloryren arrived at the Campus Charité Mitte (CCM), Charité - University Medicine Berlin to visit Prof. Schlomm, Director of the Department of Urology. The main wards of the Department of Urology are located at the CBF, while the urological oncology clinic and the translational research lab are based at the CCM. The meeting was held in the conference room of the Rahel Hirsch Center for Translational Medicine at the CCM. The center was jointly founded by the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) and Charité, dedicated to facilitating the translation of basic research findings into clinical practices. The center is located at Luisenstraße 65, connected to the main building of the CCM, Charité. Completely renovated, it now offers a total of 14,875 square meters of floor space. It provides the scientists and clinicians with state-of-the-art clinical, laboratory, and office space as well as technologies. The center is named after Rahel Hirsch, a pioneer in medical history and the first woman in Germany to be awarded the title of professor of medicine. Prof. Hirsch made remarkable contributions in the fields of physiology and clinical research. Despite facing numerous challenges in her career, she remained steadfast in advancing scientific progress. Naming the center after her symbolizes a strong commitment to medical innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. During the meeting, the team provided a detailed introduction of the programs that Gloryren is running, including the Sino-German Fellowship Program, the Sino-German MD Program, and the International Visiting Professorship Program. Prof. Schlomm expressed great interests in these programs and proposed establishing a system that integrates exchanges and cooperations in hospital management, speciality construction and talent cultivation. This would involve visiting Chinese hospitals as international visiting professor and accepting MD students from these hospitals, who would work on joint research projects as their doctoral thesis. Prof. Schlomm mentioned that although his team had previously accepted Chinese postdoctoral researchers, they had yet to accept MD students from China. He expressed his intention to conduct translational research in the MD program, which aligns with his team’s expertise and better suits the career plans for Chinese doctors. After the meeting, we took a photo with Prof. Schlomm at the hospital entrance. Prof. Schlomm also shared details about his department, noting that while his personal clinical and research focus is on prostate cancer, genomics, and precision medicine, the department is equipped with well-established subspecialties, including pediatric urology, oncology, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, hormonal disorders, kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, malformations, kidney transplantation, and urogynecology, making it one of the largest urology departments in Germany. This exchange laid a solid foundation for future collaboration, and we look forward to deepening cooperation in translational research and talent training.
