This weekend, I visited the Jichang Garden in Wuxi, the favourite garden of the Emperor Qianlong. I live by the Lihu Lake and it takes only 20 minutes to get to the garden by car. More than 300 years ago, when the Emperor Qianlong went to Jiangnan for six times and visited Huishan Mountain for seven times, he lived in the Jichang Garden. I can imagine that the Emperor must be romantic. Jichang Garden should definitely be one of the best Chinese gardens. In December, Wuxi is dreamlike, bathed in warm sunshine and with charming autumn scenery. In the ripe town of Wuxi, blessings come from the Huishan Mountain. The 630-year-old gingko tree in the garden is golden yellow, shedding warmth on my shoulders. Everything in the world needs development to contribute to the world.
