In my mind, the University Hospital of Munich is definitely the best hospital in the world. Prof. Stief, a fellow of the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and the Deputy Medical Director of the University Hospital of Munich, together with Prof. Hagl, the Director of the Cardiac Surgery Clinic, Prof. Hatz, the Director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery, and Prof. Giunta, the Director of the Department of Hand Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery, will fly from Munich to Shanghai on November 13th.They will attend the 4th Sino-Euro Global Forum on Hospital Management Specialty Construction & Talent Cultivation in Chongqing, China, from November 16th to 17th.These four key academic leaders have accepted 10 MD students for Chinese Grade Three Class A hospitals. The priorities for Chinese hospital executives should be hospital management, specialty construction and talent cultivation. Only when the administration chiefs and clinical chiefs share the same vision can these three priorities be effectively accomplished. Only when these three aspects are well done can patient care be promoted. And only by providing excellent patient care can a hospital become one of the best in the world.
